Mumbai, May 26: Shani Mahatma Seva Samithi convened by Tulu Kannadigas celebrated Shanishwara birth anniversary and Shanishwara Grantha Parayana at Shanimahatma auditorium, Khar east on Thursday, May 25.

Religious rituals were conducted by priests Krishna Kulal and Girish Poojary couple. The couple Karunakar and Revathi were in charge of the poojas.

Seva Samithi vice president Devendra V Bangera lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion.

Honaray chief secretary Yogesh K Hajmady, joint secretary Jayarama N Shetty and Ramesh N Poojary, joint treasurer Vinod Y Hejmady, women's wing leaders Kesari B Ameen and Shobha V Kotian, Ashok Shetty, Saraswathi B Poojary, Vanana S Salian, Vimala R Kotian, Mohini Shetty, Anusooya G Suvarna, Sulochana Bangera, Laxmi T Shetty, Mohini Salian, Usha Jathan and office bearers, women's wing members, youth wing and other sub-committee members and devotees participated in the programme.
