Mangalore, Apr 7: Dev Dita Tem, a Konkani drama, was staged at Norin Aani Ronald Mendonse Amphitheatre at Kalangan near Shakti Nagar here on Sunday April 6.

The drama was directed by Betty Alvares, a noted Konkani dramatist from Goa, and was staged as a part of cultural programmes organised by Mandd Soban every month . The play was staged during the 76th monthly cultural programme.

Betty Alvares, Carmen Barbosa, Elvis Sequera, Mathew D`Souza, CD Silva, Ignatius De Xelvon, Francis Fernandes and others gave life to different characters of the drama. Theo Alvares, Luis Rebello and other musicians spellbound the audience.

 
The effect of the drama was hightened with the mesmerizing lighting effects by Vilas Gatekar.  DVD of Guiness Record breaking 'Konkani Niranthari' was released by Betty Alvares on the occasion.
