New Delhi, Jun 8 (IANS): Resortwear designer Nidhi Munim, whose creations have been flaunted by celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Sunny Leone and Nargis Fakhri, has stepped into footwear designing, courtesy an association with Crocs.

She has also been announced as the digital brand ambassador of Crocs India. Together, they have launched a spring summer 2018 collection. Actress-model Gauahar Khan walked the runway as a showstopper in one of the creations here on Wednesday.

Talking about the move, Munim told IANS: "This was such a seamless collaboration. I feel that just like the vibe of our brand which is chic, flirty, bold, vibrant and beachy - crocs was the obvious choice for a footwear partner.

"For this trade show, we have also come up with a DIY crocs collection and developed styles portraying our love for everything Moroccan."

On the association, Deepak Chhabra, Managing Director, Crocs India, said they were happy to collaborate with Munim.
