Kuwait, Apr 13:
Shirva Welfare Association Kuwait (SWAK) held their Family picnic on 11th April 08 from 10:00 am onwards at Mesillah Beach. It was a fun-filled day, an event where the members and their families had wholesome fun. The day began with a warm welcome by President Urban D'Souza followed by a prayer led by committee member  Agnes Barboza. In the beginning a delicious breakfast was served to everyone. It was time for enjoyment as everyone gathered got involved with Games. Variety of games and spot prizes were organized for all age groups as men, women and kids enjoyed every moment of the day. Time off at the sea shore thrilled the kids and adults alike.

A grace before meal offered by Leena Martis, followed by delicious food sponsored by SWAK member Vincent Alva. SWAK took this opportunity to celebrate the birthday of Vincent Alva along with his family. After the Lunch, Housie Housie was conducted and later prizes were distributed by Spinn's Confectionary Managing partner Mr. Herald D'souza  for all winners of Games and spot prizes. All the events of the day were conducted by Anil Menezes and Urban D'souza. The picnic came to an end with vote of thanks by secretary Paul Aranha
