Abu Dhabi : KCF holds Gulf Eshara Grand Ifthar

Abu Dhabi, Jun 15: Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF), a socio-cultural organization of NRI Kannadigas hosted a Grand Iftar 2017 get-together in association with Kannada monthly Gulf Eshara at Corniche Abu Dhabi hotel.

The event began with a dua by renowned scholar philanthropist, Sayyed Jalaluddeen Thangal Ujire. This was followed by a welcome address by Abdul Hameed Saadi KCF national committee president, In his welcome address, he stated that, renowned Kannada magazine Gulf Eshara, is commended by NRI Kannadigas across the GCC as it is a milestone in Kannada vernacular press. Gulf Eshara is the only registered Kannada magazine of Middle East having 3000 subscribers.



He also talked on Ihsan, a sub-organisation of SSF Karnataka that serves the community of north Karnataka. Their motto is educational upliftment. Stressing on the importance of socio and educational improvement in backward and under developed districts of North Karnataka he said that the goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth. Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.

A documentary on Ihsan was screened during the event. Hafil Saeed Haneefi presided over the event. KCF INC general secretary Haji Sheikh Bava Mangaluru, PMH Abdul Hameed, KCF Abu Dhabi zonal president Hasainar Amani Ajjavara, Hassan Haji Balehannur were present during the occasion.

KCF Abu Dhabi zonal committee thanked the guests for gracing the occasion and all the members of Abu Dhabi chapter for their wholehearted support. The selfless and tireless efforts of KCF Abu Dhabi general secretary Hakeem Turkalike, Umar Eshwaramangala, Kabber Bayambadi, Ameer Engineer made the event memorable.
