11.39 lac students had appeared for the NEET examination conducted on May 7 this year, and Madras High Court had stayed publication of result because of confusion in question paper. After CBSE Board approached Supreme Court, the apex court resersed the high court order on June 12.
Sankeerth says that he expected to get within the first 200 spots, but the fourth rank he has got has come as pleasant surprise. He says that he used to study whenever he got time, without fixing any particular time table. He also did jogging, drawing, swimming etc in between. He plans to enter MBBS course through All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi. He feels that the question papers were easy and he was assisted by the support provided by teachers and trainers in the coaching institute. His father works for a private company, while mother is a housewife.
Sankeerth had got first rank in Karnataka in the examination conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He had bagged tenth rank in the JIPMER MBBS 2017 examination.
