Mangaluru: First look, poster of Tulu film 'Umil' released

Mangaluru, Jun 28: The first look and the poster of Tulu film 'Umil' directed by Ranjith Suvarna, was released at Forum Fiza mall in a splendid event recently.

Actor Aravind Bolar is shown as a mosquito (Umil) in the first look and the poster with liquor bottle in one hand and a beedi in other. Arvind Bolar is not a mosquito in the film as shown in the poster. The director said that the connection can only be known only after one watches the film after it releases.

For the first time, a film from Coastalwood will feature lots of graphics.

Jyothirmayi is working as the graphic designer. Karunaker Shetty and Prajnesh Shetty are producing the film. Umesh Mijar will be seen as the lead hero for the first time. The film will have two heroines. While Pooja Shetty is one of the heroine, the search for second heroine is on.

Navin D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sathish Bandale and others too will be seen in 'Umil'. The shooting will start on September 3. Russel Sahi of Tamil film industry will compose the music.

The film has four songs. Keerthan Bhandary and Prashanth C K have written the lyrics. It is said, well-known singer Vijayaprakash will lend his voice for a song.
