Mangaluru: Dubbing rights of Tulu film 'Namma Kusalda Javaner' sold

Mangaluru, Jun 29: The rights of Tulu film 'Namma Kusalda Javaner', directed by Ganeshdas Kharvi have been sold before the release of the film. Nakoda Entertainment Company has acquired the dubbing rights of the film.

The director said that the film will be dubbed in Konkani and Marathi. Talks on remake rights of the film in Tamil are also in progress. The sale of remake rights of a Tulu film is an encouraging development for Coastalwood.

Preparations for the early release of the film are in progress. The story is about a group of mischievous boys with several dreams to succeed in life. How the youth become useful for their hometown after unexpected incidents, is the essence of the story in the film.

Richard Karkala is the co-producer of the film. Mani is the cinematographer. Navin Siribagilu is the editor. Manju Sullia is the choreographer. J K Nataraj Gowda and Harsha R Gowda are the working producers.

Amith Karkada and Shobhitha Amin play the lead pair in the film. Umesh Mijar, Rajashekar Skylark, Bank Janardhan, Vinny Fernandes, Sandeep Barady and others are in the cast.

The film has been shot at Mangaluru, Bengre, Karkal, Udupi and Malpe.
