Bengaluru: Former minister Krishnaiah Shetty quits Congress, returns to BJP

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Jul 2: Former state minister Krishnaiah Shetty on Sunday July 2 began his new stint in the BJP after joining the party in a ceremony held at BJP Malleshwaram office here.

Krishnaiah Shetty, who was in Congress, joined BJP in the presence of party president B S Yeddyurappa.

Shetty had been a minister in the earlier BJP-led state government. In March 2014, he was admitted into the Congress after the BJP denied him party ticket due to his alleged involvement in the KIADB land scam.

Krishnaiah had even been imprisoned along with Yeddyurappa for sometime in the land denotification cases.

Speaking to media persons after joining BJP, Krishnaiah Shetty said that he was here to stay and would remain loyal to the BJP as a party worker.

Why Yediyurappa looks so serious? When a new members joins his party he should feel proud and welcome him with smiling face.

Like a cat on the wall, he is jumping the sides to probably get attractive and lucrative goodies. Shameless and characterless and confused behavior.... God save us from such politicians.... This is the game plan of BJP to get migrants from opposition parties one by one, so there won't be any good politician left in the opposition and thereby winning elections become easy....!!

How much Congress gave when he left BJP & joined COngress?

    Can you explain please?

I am not supporting him or BJP, but I hat the blind support to who robbed India since Independence .

A family dictating India without leaving the Chair. Still people can't understand. Just for personal benefit they blindly support such corrupt people

Indian COnstitution should be changed & strictly stopp allowing Politicians jumping one party to another or forming new parties.

No words to express, even though they all wear snow white shining clothes, neither they look innocent nor they have decent / pleasant smile on their face. They way they posed themselves as if they have just come out from the jail.

Take some clean, broadminded, educated youngsters in the party. You are leading the sate and not the bar & restaurant.

This guy jumped from BJP to Congress and jumps back from congress to BJP. He was in prison with Yeddi and may be preparing to loot again if BJP comes to power. It is with voters to teach a lesson to party jumping and corrupt politicians. If Congress people were sensible they should not admit any of this kind of people.

This old jumping jack - Yeddyurappa's chaddi dost - must have been a kabaddi player in his younger days. He is very good in jumping from BJP to Congress and now back from Congress to BJP. A very principled man. Fit to be a pucca politician.

Again! Modi's Dramatic and Hypocratic party proves itself! On one hand MODI is busy saying he's done that he's done this! And here they are inducting all the CORRUPT politicians in one single party. Its shameful that MODI'S drama wins over the truth . NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI is a drama in himself . And is a hypocrite of the first order! PEOPLE its time you all realize the truth about this man and its high time we stop getting fooled by this hypocrite .

For power hunger BJP 'corruption' is no longer national issue but just an eyewash to woo the voters.
Former CM Yeddyurappa who is on bail from jail in denotification and mining kickback is now BJP CM candidate.
Like Yatha Raja Tatha Praja (As the King, so the people) | now his complicit in the same crime is joining the party.
For PM Modi and his party this is 'minimum government, maximum governance'.

I wonder BJP 'Burnol' distributors have sold out pre GST sales. Hope its social media of cottage industry has some words like 'G' with BJP corruption.
