Daijiworld has learnt that the day before he was kidnapped, Naeem had called up his home here and spoken to his wife and parents. Speaking to Daijiworld, his father Mohammed Hussain and mother Chand Sultana said that the family came to know of his kidnapping only after watching the news on a TV channel. Later, they were informed of the same by the company.

His wife and children are in Mumbai on vacation and were not available for comment.

Naeem is the family's bread-earner. He has two daughters and one son. His parents, wife and children are in deep sorrow and have pleaded the media persons to convey their plight to the people concerned and the government who can help in his rescue. They have asked the union government through the media to put pressure on the Afghanistan government to do all it can to ensure that Naeem is rescued and sent back safely.

I totally sympathise with the family's shock and pray that Mr. Naeem returns home safe. While Government of India must do everything to help the family in getting back their son/husband/father, it is utmost important for Indian citizens to uderstand taking risky jobs in risky countries is a passport for uncertainties and risk.

Afghanisthan, Iraq are the hotspots for this kind of risk and particularly one works for American companies the risk is thousandd fold. We Indian citizens must to a certain extent give up our greed to work in foreign lands. While the Middle east and everywhere else they seek cheap labour to build skyscrappers and cities, are we so much of destitute to work in our own country, in todays economy and prospects, where there are so many jobs, of course they may not fetch the exchange rates but perhaps help ourselves in terms of peace and family happiness.

Our government must do its utmost but people should think and act. I do pray Mr. Naeem returns home to his family.

Hunger is the main reason for going there. Govt. must create job opportunities within the country. If India provide me enough bread or meal against my hard work why should I think about going to other countries ?

We all Indians including myself in Dubai,Abudhabi and other Gulf should come together under one desk to get him released. Taliban kidnapping is unislamic. Even KFD can come forward to solve, not just in the form of protest but result is needed.

Today its naeem but tomorrow may be our loved ones in other part of the world. So let us join together by some means..

Let us not crib and cry on things which say why people have to go to Afghanistan and other places. Let us put up a great show and save the young man who is the support of the family. The Govt of India should do something and help this man. Let the Ministers now show their concern and all the worries. May god bless his family and let him be released as soon as possible.

Why not the Govt of India ban Indian Nationals from going to Afghanistan. The militants are insane people. They kidnap innocent people who have nothing to do with their demands/problems and later on kill them resulting in life long sorrow for his family members.

I appeal to the people of India and not to accept any jobs in Afghanistan and to the Govt. of India to ban people from travelling to Afghanistan.
