Puttur, Jul 6: A small trader showed how important honesty is in life by handing over the big amount of money he found on the road.

Ananda Moolya, a resident of Kavu Madnoor, found a bag containing Rs 40,900 on the road. It is indeed a big amount for him. But his principles would not allow him to keep this money. No ways he could trace the rightful owner of the money. So he walked to the police station with the help of his friend Koti Moolya and handed over the money to the police.

Ananda Moolya runs a petty shop in his village. He is also active in social service. He is the honorable advisor of Kavu Nanya

Thudar Yuvaka Mandala, which has won district level award for excellent social service.
People from his village have praised Ananda Moolya for his action.
