Dell EMC, SAP launch 'GST-in-a-box' for MSMEs in India


Bengaluru, Jul 10 (IANS): IT major Dell EMC and enterprise solutions provider SAP on Monday announced a comprehensive digital Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to get GST ready.

SAP is providing a pre-packaged ‘GST in a Box' solution running on infrastructure solutions of Dell EMC which is aimed at helping MSMEs digitally transform their businesses in compliance with GST.

"While the new tax system is expected to be a game-changer for enterprises, it also largely depends on how ready companies of all sizes can be to adapt to the new technical requirements as seamlessly as possible," said Anil Sethi, Vice-President, Channels, Dell EMC India, in a statement.

"In our partnership with SAP India, we aim to be the infrastructure player of choice for MSMEs in the next step in digitising India," Sethi added.

The solution is available to MSMEs through joint 'go-to-market' initiatives in 30 SAP GST solution centres across 15 cities in India.

"Our partnership with Dell EMC provides businesses of all sizes with the opportunity to have a single window into being technology-ready as GST becomes the new norm for India Inc," noted Vivek Malhotra, Vice President, General Business, SAP Indian Subcontinent.

The solutions will enable customers to make their businesses GST ready in 100 days.
