Dubai: Milagreans Day out - Pictures

Dubai, April 26: The first event of Milagreans ‘The Milagreans Day out’ was a grand success. The program began at 11:30 am at Creek park Dubai with the welcome speech by Flavia Mathias. There were a total of 80 members from Milagres Church and Ex-milagreans from schools and colleges.

The President of Milagreans Gulf Association Dubai (MGAD) explained the gathering the origin, objectives, mission and vision of MGAD. He gave a clear picture of what MGAD is and what it plans to do in the coming days. This associations mission named ‘KUMOKH’-Kallianpurians United Mission offering Knowledge and Help intends to sponsor poor students education back home. It also aims at helping and uniting all the milagreans in the Gulf.

 Lot of games were conducted all throughout the day, including team games, spot prizes, housie-housie and couple games. The crowd participated actively and enjoyed the event.

Lunch was severed at 2pm including the mangalorean dessert ‘Vorn’ (paiyasam). The post lunch session comprised of skits by all the teams. The final game of the day was the ‘Tug of War’. The added attraction was the music session by the committee members.

On behalf of all the attendees Melwin Lewis thanked the organising committee and said they would look forward for more events in the future. The day was concluded by prize distribution which were distributed by senior members of MGAD.

Flavia Mathias delivered the vote of thanks and the crowd dispersed at 4:30 pm.
