Tumakuru, Jul 13: A person staged protest opposite government hospital at Tiptur in the district on Wednesday July 12 against short supply of condoms at the hospital.

Ganesh, resident of Tarikere in Chikkamagaluru district, reportedly was approaching the government hospital at Tiptur seeking supply of condoms often. It is said that the staff at the hospital sent him back each time, telling that condoms were in short supply. On Tuesday night, he had gone to the hospital for the same purpose, and got the reply that condoms were out of stock.

Angered by this, Ganesh held protest in front of the hospital. Speaking to media persons who met him, he criticized the hospital for not having any condom boxes. "The staff of the hospital are not giving a specific reply why condoms are not available. They close hospital at 4.30 pm. From the way they have treated me, I can very well understand what service they provide to other patients," he explained.

Ganesh has married a lady from Tiptur and has children. He said he is in need of condoms and has been approaching this hospital seeking condoms since many days.
