Bantwal, Jul 15: The government has changed its mind again on the issue of appointment of police circle inspector to the town.
The police department had earlier transferred B K Manjayya, who is the current police inspector here, and posted Sandesh in his place. It later changed this decision.
Brijesh Mathew, currently functioning in Chikkamagaluru district, was transferred to the town as circle inspector. People expected him to take charge of the office.
In a fresh order issued by the office of the additional director general of police at Bengaluru, M S Prakash has been posted as police circle inspector here. Currently Prakash is discharging duty as inspector of Anti Naxal Force.
