Mangaluru, Jul 20: The audition for some of the characters of Tulu film 'Umil' directed by Ranjith Suvarna will be held soon.
Actor Aravind Bolar has already been shown as 'Umil' (mosquito) in the first look. Though he is not a mosquito as shown in the poster, those are inter connected.
Actors and actresses for some characters are finalized and a search is on for the remaining main characters. Director Ranjith has said that the place of audition will be announced later.
Karunaker Shetty and Prajnesh Shetty are producing the film. Umesh Mijar will be seen as the hero for the first time. Among two heroines, Pooja Shetty will be playing the lead role. Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar and Sathish Bandale are finalised. Shooting will begin on September 3.
