Mumbai, May 5: “BJP has provided him the stage to render honest service to the party and to become successful politician.  The state president-ship endowed on him shows his mettle in efficiently discharging his duties as party worker.  It was only possible because of the level of satisfaction maintained with the party worker, voters and citizens.   The trust bestowed on him by the party has given him an opportunity to return the good will by working diligently for the party in the coming days while he would remain grateful to the veterans of party leaders” said Gopal C Shetty.



He was addressing the grass root level party workers after taking charge as president of BJP Mumbai Pradesh, on Sunday May 4 morning. 

BJP national secretary Gopinath Munde and Maharastra state president Nitin Gadkari, handed over the charge of president-ship to MLA Gopal Shetty, hailing from Udupi district by placing tradition headgear and presented with flower bouquet, during the installation ceremony held at Shivaji High School grounds, located at Dadar (East).

Gopal Shetty took charge in the presence of Mumbai Pradesh past president Prakash Mehta, former union minister Ram Naik, MP Jayavantiben Mehta, former MP Kirit Somayya, MLA Vinod Tavde, along with thousands of party workers.
