Doha: Indian Embassy, ICC to hold 71st Indian Independence Day flag hoisting

Doha, Aug 14: Indian Embassy in association with Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) will conduct a flag hoisting ceremony on August 15 at ICC premises Abu Hamour to mark the 70th Indian Independence Day.

The event will commence at 6.45am, All the community members are requested to join in the occasion and carry a photo identification.

Ambassador of India to Qatar P Kumaran will hoist the flag in the presence of leaders and members of the Indian community in Qatar..

Apex body officials, affiliated organization leaders and members of the Indian community will be present at the function. Students from Indian schools will present patriotic songs at the occasion.
