Modi, Shah to meet BJP-ruled states' CMs

New Delhi, Aug 21 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah will on Monday meet Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states to discuss the implementation of the central government's welfare schemes.

This would be the first such meeting after the Bharatiya Janata Party's alliance with the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) in Bihar.

According to party sources, Modi and Shah will address the meet, and 13 Chief Ministers and six Deputy Chief Ministers will be in attendance.

Shah earlier this week held a meeting with union ministers and party officials for the BJP's "Mission 350-plus" for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

This issue would also be discussed in the meeting, sources said.
