Mangalore: Lokayukta Officials to Accept Petitions from May 21

Mangalore, May 20: The citizens may file their complaints with Lokayukta deputy superintendent of police and the police inspector, during their visit to various places in South Kanara between Wednesday May 21 and Wednesday May 28.

Complaints should be written in a prescribed form and submitted with affidavit. Petitions will be accepted by Lokayukta police officials at its local office on other days. The petitions should be related to unnecessary delays in attending the work in government offices or harassment by government officials, stated a press release.

The Lokayukta police will be at government inspection bungalow in Beltangady and Bantwal on Wednesday May 21 between 11 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm respectively.

On Saturday May 24 the officials will be at Sullia between 11 am to 1 pm and Puttur between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

In Moodbidri, inspection will be held on Wednesday May 28 between 11 am and 1 pm and at Kuppepadavu panchayat office from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, the release stated.
