Karnataka stands first in India with Rs 1.4 lac crore investment proposals

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Aug 24: “Karnataka stands first place for second year in succession in attracting capital investment. Proposals for Rs 1.4 lac crore have been received for investment till June, 2017 as per estimates”, said R V Deshpande, minister of industries and infrastructure development on Wednesday, August 23.

“The state was in eleventh position in 2013, fifth position in 2014 and fourth position in 2015 as per figures by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce in New Delhi,” he added.

R V Deshpande

“The state bagged first position with a proposal of Rs 1.54 lac crore investments in 2016 and has reserved its first position this year also. The single window committee has approved 1,823 industrial projects worth Rs 3.34 lac crores during the last four years. It has created a total of 14.19 lac jobs in small, medium and large scale industries including 1.89 lac in large scale industries,” he informed.

“An amount of Rs 5 lac crore investment and creation of fifteen lac jobs were targeted under industrial policy for the period 2014-2019,” he said.

New Jobs creation

“Job prospects are facing a danger due to automation and digitalization. More than 60% engineering graduates are becoming jobless. More than 20 lacs man days are getting wasted in a year. Therefore a new policy of giving fillip to manufacturing dolls, mobile phones, tablets, electronic equipments and their assembly is being prepared,” he announced.

How much % of the rs 1.4 lakh crore amount is grabbed by RV Deshpande? Surely, there must be some.

No answer till now from Siddramaiah govt for following scams sincerely done by RV Deshpande during Siddu's rule:

    1. Deshpande, had "illegally" acquired more than 177.28 acres in Jakkur-Allasandra plantation village, which was declared Reserved Forest in 1940 by erstwhile Mysore government. Deal worth rs 22,000 crore was done.

Scam was brought to the notice of the government by chief conservator of forests by writing a letter to the government, seeking an inquiry. No answer from Chief conservator of forests nor Siddu & Rahul Gandhi.

    2. Scam involving RV Deshpande in awarding  tender worth Rs 36 crore for development of roads and other work in Gurmitkal Assembly constituency.

No point of development plan by this man, only self development. Just think before posting, its a poor tax payer's money who shells out from his meagre amount-bearing wallet for development of our nation & for basic needs.

Nation salutes the poor Tax Payer

Read my post once again. You can find out who is filling tummies with bribes. It is purely RV Deshpande.

Truth is always bitter, my dear friend. I know you won't have any understanding about the corruption your Congress does & what you do is defending whatever wrong it does.

Good but we don't see any improvement in Infrastructure development. If it rains for 1 hour then Bengaluru will get floods. Only Industrial development is not good. It should be balanced and go hand in hand with Infrastructure development. I don't understand why cn't they make world class roads in Bengaluru. At times we feel ashamed to say that we have such pathetic roads and Drainage system in a IT city like Bengaluru.

For the current government time is not over yet, they still have time to reduce the damage in few months.

Development work in Mangaluru, which should have been taken place by Central Govt is stalled from many years as we have MP, who is more concerned about religion, sangh parivar, cow etc.. filled mentality. He talks about crores worth Central Govt grant but never talk about development work and satisfactory statistics!
We are lucky to have Road, Sea, Rail, Air connectivity to all regions of the country. But failed miserably to utilize it due to narrow minded approach and inefficient brain!

Jeevan Burnol is available in plenty! Have some! These figures are not given by the State government but by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce of the Central government. So do you mean to say these Central ministry is releasing fake and wrong figures. Along with Telangana, Andhra and TN, Karnataka is one of the most attractive investment destinations. Karnataka is favoured more due to the cosmopolitan environment it provides along with qualified local work force, multi-lingual society and seemingly knowledgeable customers. Add to it the political stability that the present government has brought in to the table unlike the previous 12 years in general and 5-year-term of last BJP government wherein there was not a single CM who completed a 5-year-term. It's investor friendly environment with single-window clearance system that was introduced in 2014. A non-corrupt regime always attracts investors who feel that they can establish their business with minimum efforts and investment. That's what the present government is all about. They have put Karnataka back on right track after it had lost path post S M Krishna's term.
