Kundapur: Sri Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe to visit Kollur temple on Aug 26

Kundapur, Aug 25: Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, is scheduled to visit Kollur Goddess Mookambika temple at 11 am on Saturday August 26.

The temple has received communication in this regard from the Indian embassy.

The Sri Lankan PM will arrive at Areshirur helipad near Byndoor and then travel to the temple. The district administration has been making special arrangements as required for the visit of the distinguished dignitary.

Temple administration and district administration officials undertook scrutiny of the helipad area, and discussed precautionary security measures needed to be undertaken during his visit.

Kollur temple assistant executve officer, Krishnamurty, said that all necessary preparations have been made in connection with the visit of Wickremesinghe.
