Kundapur: Bike rider killed in govt bus-bike collision

Kundapur, Aug 28: The bike rider was killed when his bike collided with a government bus at Kirimanjeshwar here on Monday evening, August 28.

The deceased has been identified as Srikanth Kharvi (24), son of Gandimane, Maravanthe resident Venkappa Kharvi. He was a fisherman and was returning home from Navunda.

The bus was on its way from Kundapur to Byndoor. Srikanth who sustained serious injuries on his head, died on the spot.

The dead body was kept at Byndoor government hospital mortuary.

Byndoor station police arrived at the spot and conducted investigations.
