Udupi: Nagging health issues force senior citizen to end life

Udupi, Sep 1: Robert Cornelio (69), living at  Kakkunje Shivalli Santhekatte here, ended his life by hanging himself on Thursday August 31. Robert, it is learnt, was frustrated by  health problems which refused to subside.

Cornelio hanged himself from a roof beam at the front  hall of his house. It is said that since the last three months, he was suffering from heart related problems and hernia and he was under treatment for them.

The family members said in the complaint that because of  volatile health condition, Robert was frustrated and hence chose to commit suicide. A case about the incident sands filed in the police station here.
