Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha city deanery, Bondel unit hold 'Prathibha Puraskar'

Managluru, Sep 5: Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh city ward and Bondel unit, on Sunday, September 3, organised 'Prathibha Puraskar' for the meritorious students of 12 parishes of the city deanary of std X, PUC II, degree, post-graduation and specially talented students, at Bondel parish hall under the presidentship of Fr Victor Machado, dean of city denary.

About 139 meritorious students from the 12 parishes were honoured Fr Austin Peres, spiritual director of City Catholic Sabha.

The programme was inaugurated by Fr Andrew D Souza, parish priest of Bondel church.


    




























































Vijetha Pinky D’Sa and Dr Ajith D’Souza were guest speakers. They addressed the students about different opportunities for a valuable and successful life.

Denis D’Souza, deanary president, Flavia D’Souza, secretary, all the unit presidents and other Catholic Sabha members, and parents of meritorious students, were present.

Lancy D’Cunha, national president of AICU, was the convener for the programme.

Wilfred Alvares, president, Bondel unit, compered and secretary Anitha D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
