Dubai, Sep 11: Thiya Samaj in collaboration with the blood donation centre at Latifa Hospital here, on Friday September 8 held their annual blood donation drive in the city which was a resounding success.

The day saw as many as 80 members who volunteered to donate blood. However, after undergoing pre-screening medical tests that cleared them for donation, 50 members were eligible to donate blood.

The drive was initiated by Thiya Samaj family as part of its commitment to the well-being of the community. President Manish Karkera and vice president Dharmendra Bangera expressed their gratitude to all the participants who took part in blood donation and applauded their tremendous support to this cause.

All the Eurotech youngsters led by Jagadish Anna who came forward to donate blood and save lives, their contribution to society and their enthusiastic support to this noble initiative were appreciated.

After the donation, all the donors were provided beverages and a delicious lunch.
