Bengaluru: State Youth Congress starts online petition asking Modi to act against MP Nalin Kateel

Bengaluru, Sep 11: Taking the fight directly to BJP camp, Karnataka’s Youth Congress has started has started an online petition on Change.org demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi to act against Mangaluru BJP MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for threatening a police inspector in the coastal city for performing his duty during the party’s recent bike rally.

The online petition started by Karnataka Youth Congress General Secretary Suhail Kandak, who is also the chairman of 'Make A Change Foundation', demands action from the Prime Minister against the BJP MP for his 'deplorable behaviour and open threats against the police officer'.

Nalin Kumar Kateel had barged in the Mangaluru East Police Station where many BJP activists had been detained while attempting to stage a motorbike rally.

The BJP MP threatened to call for a Dakshina Kannada bandh if BJP activists were not released.

The entire incident was captured on camera and soon went viral on social media.

    Why you need to act like Kejriwal..waiting Modi to take action ( He will never act on his own people, recent examples Haryana, UP ). However, we have able CM Siddu & his Police Dept . If they find Nalin as offender, I'm sure then they should take immediate action.

    Guys why you are wasting your precious time. As all know BJP policies speak ill about a particular religion you will be made union minister i.e., Anant Hegde. But this illiterate MP chosen different path of isssues like abusing police or may be burning Entire DK district. (Because he tried speaking ill of minorities when he became MP first time without succeeding any ministerial berth) At any cost he want to be on media headlines as elections nearing. Only speaking ill is his achievement for past 8+years for his contituency

    No use of complaining to FEKU against any of his MPs/MLAs. In past, questions raised against NDA ministers, MPs and FEKU turned them down saying arrogantly, "Nobody will resign. Do, whatever you want to do"

    As per Gauri Lankesh Patrike August edition, BJP will not protest against Kallappa suicide case due to some reasons.
