Madikeri, Sep 12: Tremors were experienced in some parts of Coorg district on Tuesday, September 12.

People at Napoklu Kolakeri and Balalmavati in the district said that they felt the earthquake like experience and started to panic. Vessels and furniture were seen shaking and making noise in their houses, some people said.

Some locals said that they heard the noise from below the earth.
