Soldier killed in J&K


Srinagar, Sep 20 (IANS): An Indian Army soldier was killed on Wednesday in Pakistan firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said.

The soldier was killed in the Keran sector.

Pakistani troops had earlier violated ceasefire on the international border (IB) in the Jammu district consecutively for four days. However, on Tuesday and Wednesday, the IB has remained peaceful.
