SAP, PwC collaborate to offer field service solutions


Mumbai, Sep 20 (IANS): Software company SAP on Wednesday announced a collaboration with professional services network PwC to offer next-generation field service solutions specifically designed for India.

Developed on top of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer (C4C), the solution would provide companies the advantage of end-to-end field service management, back-end integration with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and front-end application for mobile phones.

Field service solutions help companies to engage more intensely with customers, gain a better understanding of their needs and leverage service propositions for revenue growth.

"Our collaboration with PwC on 'SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer' aims to innovate our offerings and improve customer satisfaction through superior field service solutions," Sam Alkharrat, Global Chief Operating Officer for SAP Hybris, said in a statement.

SAP and PwC have already activated these solutions locally with more than 25 clients in sectors such as consumer durables, real estate, auto ancillary, textiles and manufacturing.

"The field service solutions that we have developed on SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer can help companies provide superior customer experience through simplified service delivery backed by timely customer insights," added Arnab Basu, Partner and Leader, Tech Consulting, PwC India.
