Kollam (Kerala) Sep 28 (IANS): A seven-year-old girl who was reported missing was found dead in a shed near here on Thursday, police said.
A senior police official told IANS the the victim's mother came to the Yeroor station complaining that her child did not return home from her tuition classes.
"Her mother had handed the girl to a known person to be taken to the tuition centre. That person is reportedly in custody and interrogation is going on," the official said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
