Mangaluru: Muhammad Mubeen receives PhD in Pharamaceutical Chemistry

Mangaluru, Sep 29: Muhammad Mubeen, a researcher from the Pharamaceutical Chemistry department of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical sciences, received a PhD from Manipal University.

Mubin is the son of P Abbas and Amina from Ullal.

The PhD was completed under the guidance of prof Dr Suvarna G Kini Pharamaceutical Chemistry department and head of department of Pharmacology, prof Dr K Shridhar R Pai.

The PhD was given for a research paper presented on 'design synthesis and anticancer activity of novel heterocyclic compounds as epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors'.

Currently, Mubin is a professor in Karavali College of Pharmacy Mangaluru.
