Kolkata, Oct 1 (IANS): Five passengers, including a woman, died in a road accident on Sunday as the car in which they were travelling crashed into a dumper truck in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, police said.
"Four people including the driver died on the spot in the accident. Another person expired in the hospital," a police officer said.
The accident occurred in West Midnapore district's Kharagpur area.
Police said they have seized the dumper involved in the accident. The driver of the truck fled from the spot.
