Dubai duo Harish - Ashwat set to create buzz in sandalwood through ’Anukta’

Dubai / Udupi, Oct 5: Harish Bangera, young entrepreneur from Dubai, who is well known for his philanthropy and support to cultural events is set to make debut in a sandalwood movie as a producer through 'Anukta' , Muhurat for the movie will be held on October 11 at Lord Mahalingeshwara Temple, Mudabettu in Katpadi in the district.

The movie will be directed by another young, creative man Ashwat Samuel who has plenty of experience though video editing, short movie directing and all movie related works in Dubai.

Harish and Ashwat, both hailing from Mangaluru, have a dream to give something new to the audience. "All we can say is this movie has full of suspense and thrill. We cannot reveal much about the story at present," said the producer and director

"Movie will be shot at Madikeri, Mudigere, Hebri, Mangaluru and surrounding areas. The story has some horror element. So forests will be featured in the movie as per the director,” said Harish.

Ashwath Samuel is confident that the film will be able to keep the audiences glued to the chairs when the story unfolds in the theatre.

Karthik Attavar and Sangeetha Bhat will make the lead pair of the film. Sampathraj, who has become popular in Telugu and Tamil films, will also play a role in this film. 'Lakshmi Baramma' tele serial fame Lakshmi will don an important character in this movie. Sridhar Korse, Usha Bhandary and Anil Neenasam are the other important actors who will be seen in this movie.

Sangeeta Bhat will be seen in this movie after the release of her successful film, 'Yeradane Sala'. Her other film, 'Dayavittu Gamanisi' is also being released on October 20. Sangeeta is also the heroine of two other films, 'Alidu Ulidavaru' being directed by Aravind Shastri, and an yet-to-be named film being directed by K M Chaitanya. She enthusiastically accepted 'Anukta' as most of the movie team comprises people from in and around Mangaluru, and most of the shooting will also take place in coastal Karnataka. 

"Mangaluru is the native place of my father, and I like the environment there. I visit Mangaluru at least once every year. I will be mostly in and around Mangaluru for the 35-day shooting for 'Anukta', she says gleefully. She however, is not prepared to tell the story of the film other than that it will be a suspense thriller. She however, reveals that she would be in a serious role this time, quite different from what she has done so far.

Karthik Attavar and Santosh Kumar have written the story for this film, which will be produced under 'Deyi Production' banner.

Manohar Joshi happens to be the cinematographer for the film. Kiran Shetty and Naveen Sharma have written dialogues. Nobin Paul is the music composer, N M Vishwa is in charge of editing, while Keertan Bhandary has written lyrics.
