Kundapur, Oct 10: After a tipper truck hit a motor bike opposite SCDCC Bank branch at Kandlur downtown under Kavarady gram panchayat limits on Monday October 9, the pillion rider lost his life.
It is said that the tipper truck in question, which was moving towards Kandlur from Doopadakatte, was being driven at high speed recklessly. When the truck hit the two-wheeler, Nagaraj, who was sitting in the pillion, fell to the road. He breathed his last on the spot on account of grievous injuries he sustained in the accident.
Motor bike rider, Vijay, too suffered serious injuries. A case about the accident stands filed in the traffic police station here.
