Mumbai, Oct 22 (Mumbai Mirror): Sheikh filed an FIR at Khar police station on Saturday against actor Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Shera alleging harassment and being threats.

Sheikh, a 31-year-old resident of Bandra, claimed she was threatened by Shera, who wanted her to back out of a case involving Salman.

Incidentally, a contestant at the Bigg Boss show had moved a complaint against Salman who was hosting the show.

Sheikh was a party to the complaint upon being asked by the complainant to complement him. Shera, Sheikh claimed, threatened and abused her and asked her to not be a party to the complaint.

“As per the complaint, the victim, who runs a non-profit organisation (NGO), received the call on her mobile phone yesterday afternoon by a person, who claimed himself to be the bodyguard of actor Salman Khan, and threatened her with gangrape,” senior police inspector Ramchandra Jadhav said.

Sheikh in her FIR stated that she was being coercively abused by a person called Shera and that she is not going to back out of the complaint.

“We are investigating from which number the victim received the threat call and also verifying, who is using that number,” he said.

Although the cops refused to comment on the case, they said that Shera has apparently denied having abused Sheikh.

Khar police have registered a case under Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
