Davanagere: Two die after car hit milestone

Davanagere, Oct 24: Two passengers died on the spot after the car in which they were seated hit a roadside milestone on Monday October 23. The accident happened near Lakkamuthenahalli village on national highway 4.

The deceased were of Hubballi origin. The car was moving from Hubballi to Bengaluru when the driver lost control over the vehicle, following which the car hit the milestone planted by the roadside at great speed.

Two others in the car suffered grievous injuries. They stand admitted into the district government hospital here.
