Mangaluru, Oct 24: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on Sunday, October 22, said that the government will provide maximum financial aid to Rani Abbakka Tulu Study Centre.

He visited the centre and Life Heritage Museum, at Sanchayagiri, BC road.

CM lauded the efforts of the study centre in preserving Tulu folk, cultural and social life for the next generation.

He also visited Rani Abbakka Art Gallery, S U Faniyadi Museum and Numismatic Study Section.

District-in-charge minister Ramanatha Rai had requested the CM to grant government aid to Rani Abbakka Art Gallery, which is renowned as the first and only art centre. He also said that a great effort was made under the able leadership of prof Thukaram Poojary to show the general public the life and works of the freedom fighter and great warrior of Tulunadu.
