Udupi, Oct 25: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not fulfilled any of his election promises. He had promised to generate three crore jobs every year for youngsters, but has not been able to reach even 10% of his promise. He started new schemes like ‘Start up’ and ‘Make in India’ but they have failed miserably,” said state Youth Congress secretary and district in-charge Umesh Bore Gowda while addressing to protestors on Tuesday, October 24.

The protest was organized by district Youth Congress, in front of head post office, Udupi here.

“Modi’s speeches motivated and encouraged many youngsters, but now they are disheartened. The PM further implemented demonetisation and GST policy which have hindered the growth of economic system in India. PM Modi has completed three years simply on the basis of his lies,” he said.

The youth Congress members expressed their ire by locking the doors of post office and shouted slogans against the union government.

“PM Modi promised many things, but did not fulfill anything. So the time has come to realize truth and blunders of Modiji. He said that ‘Acche Din Aane Wala Hai’ but ‘Achhe Din’ cannot be seen anywhere. While looking at Modi’s dressing style, foreign visits, attitude, and property of Amit Shah’s son, we can surmise that poor people of the nation are least of his concerns.”

“It is time for Modi to wake up before falling to the flame of youth’s rage. Let him try to fulfill all his promises. Karnataka government has seen three chief ministers in just three years during BJP period. BJP does not know about ruling a government.”

“Former PM Manmohan Singh brought many projects but Modi is only taking publicity in renaming the earlier schemes. He should stop influencing others by speech. Modi should change his administration style,” added Umesh Bore Gowda.

Youth Congress president Vishwas Amin, leaders Vignesh Kini, Yathish Karkera, Harish Kini, NSUI president Christon Almedia, Habeeb Ali, Nagesh Udyavar and others were present.
