Bengaluru, Oct 25 (DHNS): Actor Prakash Rai has hit out at the UP government and the Centre over the Taj Mahal issue.

The versatile actor took to Twitter and said, “Will this world’s wonder, Taj Mahal, be a past in our future??”.

He ironically tweeted, “Since you have started digging at the foundation of Taj Mahal, when do you intend to bring it down. We can at least take our children and show it one last time”.

Rai's tweet comes in the wake of BJP MLA from UP Sangeet Som calling the monument a "blot" on the history of India and also stating that the ‘world wonder’ was built by traitors.

    Rai is right by questioning the BJP people the way they are questionsing the historical facts such asTajMahal ,Tipu Sultan all are irrelevant why donot they constrate their agenda of subka saath sabka vi kas and India of future instead of basing the minority. Top leadersof BJP should stop such holigans.

    Rai is interested in the issues outside Karnataka ? Why ? He is not an Indian ? A Kannadiga can not express his opinion of cow leader of U.P. ? Why do you comment on Mr. Rahul ? He is not in Karnataka. I truly salute Mr. Rai for his view on Taj Mahal and for his courage. Hope CBI will not raid his home.

    People destrolyed Bamiyan Buddist statues & Architectures at Palmyra for religious reasons. If the Country is filled by such people after a demographic change along with Taj mahal many other buildings may also be reduced to dust. Mr rai your grand children may be a witness to it dont worry atleast in the present.

    Why anchors thought, by Rai blaming TN on Kaveri issue, the issue will be resolved?
    If Rai talked negative about Karnataka on TN land, yes... it is objectionable. But asking him to talk negative about others is not just.

    Did you hear something about 'Screen Name'?

    Do you think 'Rajiv Bhatia' is sounding bad, that it was changed to 'Akshay Kumar'? or Akshay feld bad to call himself Bhatia and replaced it with Kumar?

    It is common, most of the actors change their names for movie purpose. Usually the name is suggested by Directors while signing actors for the first time & actors, who are new to the industry accept it.

    Do some studies on other actors too... you will know
