Key Indian equity indices open higher


Mumbai, Oct 30 (IANS): The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened higher.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 129.77 points or 0.39 per cent higher soon after opening.

The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 41.45 points or 0.40 per cent higher at 10,364.50 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 33,260.10 points, was trading at 33,286.99 points (at 9.19 a.m.), higher 129.77 points or 0.39 per cent from Friday's close at 33,157.22 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 33,295.33 points and a low of 33,206.93 points in the trade so far.
