Subsidised LPG hiked Rs 4.50/cylinder, non-subsidised Rs 93

New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS): Continuing to cut down the subsidy on cooking gas, state-run oil firms hiked LPG cylinder's price by Rs 4.50 per cylinder, while the non-subsidised rates went up by a steeper Rs 93 per cylinder, effective from Wednesday.

While the 14.2 kg domestic subsidised cylinder in Delhi now costs Rs 495.69, the non-subsidised one, which the consumer buys after exhausting the yearly quota of 12, now costs Rs 742. The 19 kg commercial cylinder costs Rs 1,310.50 from Wednesday.

Oil companies revise the rates of LPG and aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, on 1st of every month based on average crude price and foreign exchange rate. Prices vary at locations according to local taxes as petroleum products are not included under the pan-India GST.

Oil firms also raised jet fuel prices by 2 per cent on hardening of international rates.

ATF now costs Rs 54,143 per kilolitre (kl) in Delhi, a hike Rs 1,098 per kl over the previous rate of Rs 53,045.

You stay in karkala doesn’t mean that whole india is karkala

I believe you were one of person who was yelling on top of your voice when LPG was 400 rupees- now suddenly trying to cover Pradhan fekus face

Sri- you are acting some one has filled c** d*** in your brain for free

Due to increase in government spending government stopping these subsidies. You know 6 th pay commission 7 th pay commission etc. What did they do? They increased salaries. Where does the salary come from?
    So you know it well..
So I am writing as a citizen and not as political person. So whoever has facility they should save lpg. Lpg is not permanent. It is non renewable energy source. So gober gas is the only renewable energy source. Apply your thought...

Truth and facts ka Bambu diya to suddenly citizen Hogaya

Boss we still remember bahurani Smrithi Irani with a cauliflower and lauki with some fire wood and lpg cylinder protesting for a mere 400 rupees hike

I have thought so I gave a fit reply to your comment of gober gas
I know how much tough it is to set up a gober gas plant
Daily you need to mix gober with hands to dilute it and then use keep it in a tank
The tank is always dangerous as it can explode if not built with safety standards
Leakages involving toxic H2S gas can occur and with the minimum knowledge people tend to loose life during removal of slag and it’s maimt

A small cylinder of LPG is handy even though it is a non renewable energy
Moreover no one is getting it for free- I am convinced that Sri himself doesn’t have gober gas at his home

You are right. We do not have gober gas plant. But we want to keep one.
I was searching for pre fabricated unit with pressure regulator etc. But that is not available in the market.
So if you know anything about pre fabricated plant 4 meter cube size all ready made regulated supply... Let me know...

Was Gober gas not existing during UPA rule when your BJP were protesting on the road with gas cylinders in front of them? Corrupt UPA was selling LPG for Rs 450 per cylinder where as Achhe Din Sarkar is selling it for Rs 750..

    Dear Sri

Again I am back with some facts

    Take some tablets before reading

In the last 10 years OPEC has produced 279 billion barrels of oil and it has informed that they have 1275 billion barrels of sources

So we can may be not worry for LPG for the next 40 years
By then there would be technologies to utilize other sources

When there wasn’t LPG world survived for more than 3500 years
Withou LPG world will still survive

LPG was accidentally found that it could be used and then experimented
Previous it was burnt in the flare stacks as a waste gas

Yes of course petroleum resources will be exhausted one day.... until then people in this business don’t want to lose the monopoly… otherwise, we have one great source of renewable energy that is solar energy…
