Mangaluru: Inter-collegiate cultural fest ‘Prerana - 2017’ inaugurated at FMHMC

Mangaluru, Nov 3: “Homoeopathy is gaining International popularity and Homoeopathic Doctors are earning the respect dignity and name from all over society,” said Fr Richard A Coelho, director, FMCI, as he addressed the gathering in his presidential speech, on the occasion of inauguration of 9th inter-collegiate cultaral fest, ‘Prerana - 2017’ organized by Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College to the pre-university students of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on November 3.

Principal Dr Shivaprasad K welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal, Expert Pre-University College, Valachil. The chief guest praised the yeoman service given by the Father Muller Charitable Institutions in the field of healing and education. With these words he inaugurated the cultural fest by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries on the dais.

The vote of thanks was delivered by M Upendranadh, president, students’ association, FMHMC, where he thanked specially the sponsors of the event.

Fr Sylvester Lobo, administrator, FMHMC&H, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, vice-principal, FMHMC, and Dr Girish Navada, deputy medical superintendent FMHMCH, Dr Vivek Sakthidharan, convenor, ‘PRERANA – 2017’, and Fr Peter Noronha, former director, were also present on the occasion.

The programme ended with the institution anthem.
