Mangalore: Cricket Tourney Prize Distribution Ceremony held

Mangalore, Jun 22: Prize distribution ceremony of league-cum knock-out cricket tournament organized by Karnataka State Cricket Association (Mangalore Zone), was held in the city on Sunday June 22.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of 1st division B Damodar Pai Memorial League Trophy, 2nd division Canara Bank League Trophy and 3rd division ONGC-MRPL League Trophy, on the occasion.

Former cricketer A Raghuram Bhat and ONGC-MRPL group general manager (HR) K Lakshminarayana were the chief guests for the programme.

Winners' trophies were presented to Gajanana Cricket Club (1st division), City Cricketers (2nd division), Bedra Friends (3rd division), Avis Mangalore (Ramco Cup) and Yenepoya Medical and Dental Sciences College (Ace Surgical T-20 Cup), during the function.

Meanwhile, Donnet D’Souza and Rathan Kumar presented brief notes about the tourneys. Dr Devadas Rai and Nitin J Shetty introduced the guests. Dr Srikanth Rai welcomed the gathering. Arun Shetty compered the programme.
