PIA lands midway, asks passenger to take bus to destination

Lahore, Nov 4 (PTI): A flight of Pakistan's national carrier today landed in Lahore due to low visibility and asked passengers onboard to travel by bus to their destination, according to a media report.

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Abu Dhabi in the UAE to Rahim Yar Khan landed at the Lahore airport reportedly due low visibility, Geo News reported.

The airline staffers offered to take the passengers to their desired destination by a bus. However, the passengers turned down the offer and refused to leave the plane.

Following which the airline staffers switched off the plane's air conditioning system, resulting in suffocation of passengers, including minors, in the plane.

The approximate distance from Lahore to Rahim Yar Khan is 624.5 km.

The passengers said that they had asked the airlines to drop them at Multan Airport which is 292 kilometers away from Rahim Yar Khan.

See, other side of the story in Delhi. Due you election, Modi, Shah and BJP leaders are frequently travelling and hence, to make their way smooth, yesterday 13 outside flights were diverted and 90 domestic flights were diverted/ delayed at Delhi airport yesterday, putting citizens to inconvenience. It is in today's paper.

The Indian Government said it had already infused funds to the tune of Rs 23,993 crore in the National flag carrier Air India from 2011-12 till November 2016. Probably Pakistan may not be bailing out PIA.

Interesting. With such staffs at a airline, shouldnt wonder if they are really airlines staff, had training or simply pushed in.Did the pilot any training ,no communicatio with tower ,or had no possibility of taking in a bus to nearby statio and direct further?Bad weather or some problem can arise to any airline, but such comments and switching of aircondition?never heard before.Even terrosists too wont do it.Have a nice flight we say ,or a nice fight.

The plane could not land at the destination due to low visibility.
So the flight was diverted to Lahore and passengers were sent in bus to their destination. Why this is news is a headline in India ?
