Oman insurance firm to expand operations to Kuwait


Muscat, Nov 5 (IANS): Leading Omani insurer NLGIC on Saturday said it has received an approval from Kuwaiti authorities to start its branch operation in Kuwait.

"Kuwait is a potential market and we look forward to provide our expertise and best business practices to the people of Kuwait also and replicate our growth story," Xinhua news agency quoted National Life and General Insurance (NLGIC) Chief Executive Officer S. Venkatachalam as saying.

NLGIC currently has over 190 sales and service touch points across Oman and the UAE.
