Mangaluru: Police arrest two youths for selling ganja to students at Vamanjoor

Mangaluru, Nov 8: The Mangaluru rural police on Wednesday November 8 arrested two youths for trying to peddle ganja to students near a bus stop close to Karavali College at Vamanjoor here.

The accused have been identified as Deepal (23) and Prajwal (20), both residents of Kunjathbail.

Based credible information, Mangaluru rural police led by inspector Siddagowda Bhajantri raided the spot and arrested the accused.

The police confiscated 35 grams of ganja from the accused, and also a Honda Activa and a Access 125 two-wheelers by which they had come to spot near the bus stop.

A case was registered against the two and they were produced in court later. They have been remanded in judicial custody.

The operation was guided by police commisioner and other police officers, who have taken up special measures to curb drug menace in the city.
