Mangaluru: SJEC graduation ceremony to be held on Nov 11

Mangaluru, Nov 9: The twelfth graduation ceremony of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) Vamanjoor, here will be held on November 11 at the SJEC Open Air Stage at 9.15 am.

Dr Karisiddappa, vice chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University – Belgaum, will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Richard Lobo, senior vice president, head HR of Infosys Limited will be the guest of honour. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru and president – SJEC will preside over the ceremony.

The ceremony will witness the awarding of graduation certificates by the institution to the class of 2017 comprising of 575 undergraduates (BE), 118 postgraduates (MBA, MCA and MTech) and 5 doctoral degrees. Established in 2002, SJEC is alma mater to around 5000 engineers working around the world. One of the few engineering colleges in this region offering NBA accredited UG Programmes (CSE, ECE, EEE, and ME), SJEC has earned the reputation of offering quality education with focus on discipline, innovation and research.
