Sell-off in healthcare stocks suppress key indices


Mumbai, Nov 9 (IANS): Heavy selling pressure in healthcare, auto and capital goods counters suppressed the key Indian equity indices during the mid-afternoon trade session on Thursday.

At 1.10 p.m. the S&P BSE Sensex traded lower by 22 points or 0.07 per cent.

Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 dipped by 19.20 points or 0.19 per cent to 10,283.95 points.

The Sensex, which opened at 33,376.62 points, traded at 33,197.05 points (at 1.10 p.m.), lower by 21.76 points or 0.07 per cent from Wednesday's close at 33,218.81 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 33,463.80 points and a low of 33,111.54 points during the intra-day trade so far.
