Abu Dhabi, Jun 25: Kannadigas of Abu Dhabi had the opportunity to interact with well-known short story writer, novelist and editor of ‘Anupama’ women’s magazine, M Shanaz recently. The event was organized by Anupama Well-wishers’ Forum’ Abu Dhabi to felicitate Shanajz M and her husband Muthalib on their visit to the UAE.
The programme was presided over by Mohamed Ali Uchil, president, BWF, Abu Dhabi. Speaking at length about problems women are facing, Shahnaz enlightened the gathering on various issues. It was indeed a much-need lecture that was appreciated by one and all.
V K Rasheed and Wahab coordinated the programme. Mohd Rafeek Surthkal, joint secretary, BWF and KIKB president, Mohamed Hejmadi were chief guests on the occasion.
Mashaid Abdul Hameed recitated the Quran. Imran Ahmed, Irfan Ahmed and Farook Bai were instrumental in organizing this programme.
